Speaker : Tim Tribe, CPA/CFF, CFE, CICA
Tim has been a practicing accountant for more than 17 years, spending more than half that time in forensics, examining allegations of fraud, analyzing accounting records, and assessing economic damages for matters involving litigation. He has provided litigation support in both criminal and civil proceedings, analyzing related financial information and developing expert testimony and materials on such topics as fraud patterns, sufficiency of accounting evidence, analysis of internal control, accountants' standard of care, economic damages, business interruption claims, and lost profits analyses. Tim has issued written opinions in over 40 cases and testified in arbitration, deposition and trial. He has also taught financial and forensic accounting, fraud examination, and auditing principles at the college level.

This course serves as an introduction to employee theft schemes commonly encountered in the workplace.
Discussion will include a brief outline of the rates of occurrence of various general types of employee theft, introduction to specific common schemes, and training on the recognition of red flags for each scheme.
